SMS program & opt-in

Ginivo is an appointment assistant for beauty and wellness clinics. On behalf of the clinic a client booked with, this program sends appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, waitlist openings, post-visit check-ins, replies to customer-service questions, and occasional re-engagement messages. Every message identifies the sending clinic, and every message can be stopped by replying STOP.

How end users opt in

Consent is collected on each clinic's public booking page. Here is a real, live one: https://app.ginivo.ai/book/cmrbq3bdo0001waamdhzaxcwl (each clinic has its own address of this form). The booking flow has three steps: the client picks a service, picks a time, and then fills in the final “Your details” step. Directly beneath the contact field on that step are these two separate checkboxes, exactly as shown — each one unchecked by default and each tickable on its own. Consent for promotional messages is collected separately from consent for appointment messages; neither is a condition of booking:

These are the same two opt-in controls every clinic's booking page shows. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply, as each label above says. Ticking a box here records your consent for this program; nothing is sent unless you ticked the matching box.

No text message is ever sent unless the client knowingly ticked the matching box. Each consent is optional and never a condition of booking, and the two are independent — a client may accept appointment texts while declining promotional texts. If a box is left unchecked, that client receives no messages of that kind; if neither is checked, that client receives no text messages at all. Promotional messages are sent only to clients who ticked the second box. Immediately after a booking consented via the first box, the client receives a one-time confirmation text:

That web form is the only way messaging starts. There is no SMS keyword sign-up, no purchase, and no third-party or purchased list.

Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPTOUT) to any message to opt out. Opt-outs take effect immediately and block every automated message.
  • Reply HELP or INFO to any message for help.
  • Reply START to opt back in.
